Hi there! If we haven't met yet, I'm Ally, and I live in Bryan, TX, with my husband Daniel and our dog, Sunny! First off, thank you SO much for visiting my little corner, and for caring to know more about me! Sometimes I still pinch myself because I can't get over the fact that I get to take photos of people's life milestones for a living! What a dream!
I do love getting to know my clients, so I hope that this blog post is just the beginning of a longer conversation! What do we have in common? Want to be real life friends?! Let's get coffee!
I married my husband Daniel on July 18th, 2020, which was also my 27th birthday! I had the most epic birthday party, and marrying Daniel was the sweetest gift. And yes, I had my wedding during the pandemic. If you're a COVID bride, I feel you on so many levels. But I want you to remember that marriage is so much more important and long lasting than a party. Although the party is SO FUN!
Marrying Daniel also meant getting a business partner! He has the ability to make the quickest of friends, he is the best hype man there ever was, he is more organized than me, and honestly, he's just the best wedding assistant.
Daniel and I both went to Texas A&M (class of 2016) but we didn't meet until 2019 when a mutual friend set us up! We were engaged within a year of meeting and married 5 months later!
3 months into marriage, the advice we have for engaged or more recently married couples is this - go on a weekly date, and set aside time each week to check in with each other! Daniel and I sit down every Sunday night and go through The Marriage Journal by The Roloffs. It walks you through 6 crucial questions, and helps you plan your week!

That I'm from Mexico! Spanish was my first language and I didn't become a US citizen until last year! I absolutely LOVE Mexican culture - the importance of family, long hours around the dinner table, an amazing cuisine... Tacos and margaritas are my favorite!
